The Shocklog Satellite impact indicator combines the ShockLog 298 impact logger with a satellite communication module. This GPS temperature data logger has a wide range of customisation options due to its user-programmable impact scale and frequency filters.<\/p>\n
The GPS temperature data logger allows impact events, vibration, internal temperature, peak value (time interval) and displacement profile data for the summary period to be tracked and reported. In addition, location updates can also be obtained every four hours, as well as where and when undesirable circumstances have been experienced.<\/p>\n
Satellites currently provide extensive coverage for real-time monitoring of supply chain impacts. As hundreds of small communications satellites become operational and provide services to remote areas, coverage will increase significantly in the coming years.<\/p>\n
