The protection of automotive components against environmental conditions is a requirement of all manufacturers in the automotive sector for the movement of parts.
A demanding sector with the quality of components in its supply chain that uses special materials for the packing, gathering and transport of the components. The objective is to ensure the perfect condition of the parts throughout the entire process from the place of manufacture, during handling and final assembly.
Corrosion is one of the main hazards of metal parts in automotive, so many of the packaging solutions ensure the control of humidity inside the packaging by different methods, both absorbing moisture (with desiccants), protecting the metal parts (with VCI products) or by isolating the components from the outside (with high strength film or aluminum).

VCI Anti-corrosion
VCI is a corrosion inhibitor that creates a small protective film on metallic elements preventing the generation of corrosion. There are several types of corrosion inhibitor products with the same additive: VCI paper, VCI film made of standard or high-strength plastic, VCI bags with or without zip closure, VCI diffusers and VCI sponges.
Aluminium
Aluminium is the best material for the protection of any product. It does not allow the passage of environmental factors or light into the interior of the packaging made with this product. When the objective is to safely protect a product for a long period of time, it is the ideal material.
High Resistance Film
The high resistance film is a film coextruded in several layers that has high mechanical and perforation resistance. It is the perfect complement to the movement of palletised goods, allowing the product to be protected against knocks and friction, as well as ensuring good insulation of the goods from environmental conditions, as it is impermeable to water. The film is supplied in rolls and can be cut to measure according to each need.

Moisture Stabiliser
Changes in humidity cause damage to many industrial products and automotive parts. The moisture stabiliser is used to control the humidity to a specific value.
Moisture stabilisers in different sizes and formats are available: Propadyn Industry, Prosorb, Artsorb.
Moisture Indicators
Humidity indicators allow the humidity range inside the packaging to be monitored in order to control the perfect condition of the goods inside during the time they are stored or transported. In this way, humidity can be monitored from the outside.
