Desiccant plugs description

Adsormat open system desiccant plugs are mounted in different containers and tanks. Adsormat dries the column of air that remains above the container where the desiccant is located, as well as the humid air that subsequently flows through the ventilation nozzle during emptying. o Thus, the desiccant plugs avoid any chemical reaction that could occur due to the humidity in the surrounding air. Adsormat desiccant plugs are functional in both vertical and horizontal arrangements.

All Adsormat desiccant plugs are equipped with reversible humidity indicators for 30, 40 and 50% relative humidity. The indicators change from blue to pink to show when the adsorbent capacity limit has been reached. All types of Adsormat can be easily exchanged when saturated with moisture, simply by using our handy refill packs.

Desiccant Plug Specifications

There are two types of Adsormat desiccant plugs that we present below:

Type K: suitable for containers up to 4,000 liters. Plastic housing (PC / PVC).
Type M: suitable for containers up to 125,000 liters. Steel casing.
Convenient adsorbent refill packs are also available in appropriate sizes.
