Description of desiccant bags
The antistatic desiccant bag is a moisture-absorbing desiccant bag made of antistatic non-woven fabric, containing natural clay or calcium bentonite, which is of natural origin, chemically inert, non-corrosive, and primarily composed of aluminum silicates of calcium and magnesium. It is an effective and safe solution to absorb excess moisture and prevent damage caused by variations in temperature and humidity during transport and storage of your goods.
The antistatic non-woven bag allows the absorption of water vapour into the bag. The antistatic dissipative power of the product is guaranteed for a period of 12 months, after which the desiccant bag will lose its antistatic properties, depending on the storage conditions of the product.
The non-woven fabric of this desiccant bag is qualified as antistatic dissipative according to IEC- 61340-2-3.

Desiccant clays are one of the most widely used moisture absorbing products during the transport of goods. Antistatic desiccant bags also protect products that are sensitive to antistatic electrical discharges and electrostatic fields, such as electronic components.
