ShockLog Cellular impact recorder description

The ShockLog Cellular impact recorder transmits real-time alerts about tampering in the supply chain, merging the powerful monitoring capabilities of the ShockLog 298 impact recorder with a cellular communication module.

Wherever cellular phone service is available, the ShockLog Cellular impact logger, which adds cellular connectivity to the ShockLog 298 impact logger, sends a text message or email whenever an impact exceeds pre-set criteria. The piezoelectric accelerometer in this impact logger also determines the direction and velocity of the impact along the X, Y and Z axes, allowing it to identify the type of impact and whether it was caused by a forklift or ripped from a vehicle.

With the ShockLog Cellular logger, real-time notifications can be received when the temperature, humidity, pitch or roll of the shipment has gone outside tolerance limits. The information is available 24 hours a day via the software and from any location. In addition, this recorder emits very low background noise and provides very detailed impact analysis.
