Description of the VCI anticorrosive oil

The VCI anticorrosive oil or PROPATECH VCI OIL UNI 40 acts as an anticorrosion agent in the vapor phase, it is a volatile corrosion inhibitor. This particular feature makes it a product that provides protection at the most difficult access points of closed spaces, such as tanks, gearboxes and other devices that may contain oil.

The anticorrosive VCI oil works by forming a protective film on the surfaces that must be protected to preserve them from the action of environmental agents. It can be applied by spraying, dipping, brushing or even by vapor emanation without direct contact. It can also be mixed with gasoline, oil and diesel, since it burns without forming ash and can be present inside running engines. For disposal, alcohol or any alkaline detergent can be used.
