Cotton coils for pharmaceutical packaging
Cotton rolls are used in pharmaceutical packaging to ensure safe, non-toxic filling with absorbent properties.
Description of cotton rolls
Cotton coils are made from 100% bleached absorbent cotton, selected for its cleanliness and designed to provide high performance in pharmaceutical packaging.
Cotton is a natural biodegradable fiber that can be easily cut and has a moisture content of NMT 8.0%, helping to create a dry environment inside the container.
These coils are commonly used in the packaging of tablets and capsules.
For applications requiring smaller formats, we also offer cotton balls for pharmaceutical and medical use.
Available materials
In addition to cotton, coils are also available in other materials:
- Rayon: biodegradable synthetic fiber with high absorption (NMT 11%)
- Polyester: non-absorbent fiber with low moisture content (NMT 1%)

Specifications
Ideal storage conditions are between 20–25°C, although they can be stored or transported between 15 and 30°C.
