TEMPERATURE INDICATORS - WARMMARK DUO
The WarmMark DUO temperature indicator
Description of the temperature indicator WarmMark Duo
The WarmMark Duo time/temperature indicator enables the temperature and quality of goods to be monitored during transport and storage.
This temperature gauge is used to inform transporters or handlers if a product has experienced a temperature increase and consequently the product quality has been affected.
WarmMark Duo has two temperature thresholds, one above 34°C for 30 minutes and one at 10 ºC indicated in its three windows with an exposure time of 3.8 and 14 days respectively. If the product exceeds the temperature below or above these values, the temperature marker emits a red visual signal. On the other hand, if the product remains within these ranges, it means that the goods are in a good condition. In the latter case, the indicator remains white.
If the heat changes and increases dramatically for a certain period of time, and then returns to its original temperature, the Warmmark Duo remains red. In this way, those in charge of the control and handling of the goods will be able to know whether they have suffered temperature fluctuations during transport and how long the product has been exposed to high temperatures.
In addition, the temperature monitor is affordable and disposable. It can be used and thrown away after each use.
WarmMark Duo temperature gauge applications
The Shockwatch WarmMark Duo temperature controller is used to monitor temperature fluctuations of goods in the pharmaceutical industry during transport and storage of pharmaceuticals or other products that are more sensitive to heat.
