The Timestrip Blood Temp temperature indicators allows to know if products containing blood or blood products (blood bags for example) have been exposed to high temperatures not suitable for preservation. This information can be of vital importance for the procedures of hospitals and blood banks, since the good state in which a living tissue such as blood is maintained depends, to a large extent, on the storage temperature. The Timestrip Blood Temp temperature indicators are irreversible, remain inactive until activated and have no special storage or shipping requirements.

The activation of these indicators takes place when the activation blister is pressed. We will see how the first window of the indicator is colored blue, which is a sign that it is activated (“ON”) and is already sensitive to changes in temperature. The Timestrip Blood Temp temperature indicators can be applied directly to your product thanks to its adhesive back.

After the temperature exceeds the maximum depending on the indicator used, the second window will immediately fill in with blue irreversibly.
